[arch-general] Radeon (xf86-video-ati) verdict
After working with the ati driver instead of the radeonhd driver, I must say I am very impressed with the KMS implementation. It works much, much better than in the past (performance is still way short of fglrx, and it is still much HOTTER than fglrx , but screen artifacts are virtually eliminated, desktop effects are good, and compiz works very well with the driver. Uhh... credit where credit is due, and the ati driver isn't written/maintained by the Arch dev team =)
