Hi Andy, not a solution, but a hint to gather further infos: - use `xprop` to find infos about the window in question. Among other things, this gives you a PID - with `cat /proc/$PID/cmdline` you can see how it was spawned (other files in /proc/$PID/ might give other interesting infos). HTH, René

I figured it out.

I Still don't know why it didn't show in any of the lists of apps/extensions...

but... there was a hidden menubar in the actual player that had a link to uninstall youtube app.

Must be a KDE-specific app. If you have the name of the app, you could either check it's man page to find more info about it, or look it up on the packages/AUR (supposing it belongs to a package, and not just a plugin) HTH, -Jonathan
