[arch-general] Update Error - :: sysprof-module: requires kernel26<2.6.33 (is this a wait on the mirrors thing?)
Guys, Trying to update and I received: 05:15 nirvana:~/img/pics/portraits/dcr> pms -u :: Synchronizing package databases... core is up to date extra is up to date community is up to date archlinuxfr is up to date kdemod-legacy is up to date :: Starting full system upgrade... resolving dependencies... looking for inter-conflicts... error: failed to prepare transaction (could not satisfy dependencies) :: sysprof-module: requires kernel26<2.6.33 Is this a wait on the mirror to sync issue or is this a bad side effect from having updated with testing while the dbrebuild WARNING was in place and then downgrading with pacman -Syuu? IIRC you can use a newer sysprof version that does not require a sysprof module. Sysprof 1.1.4 (This version requires a 2.6.31 kernel or later) http://www.daimi.au.dk/~sandmann/sysprof/ So that would workaround your problem :p

You da' man Xavier! I removed sysprof-module and sysprof, am upgrading, then I'll install the workaround :) -- David C. Rankin, J.D.,P.E. Rankin Law Firm, PLLC 510 Ochiltree Street Nacogdoches, Texas 75961 Telephone: (936) 715-9333 Facsimile: (936) 715-9339 www.rankinlawfirm.com
