[arch-general] Welcome Geoffroy Carrier!
I want to wish a warm welcome to our new developer and bluetooth maintainer, Geoffroy Carrier (gcarrier) For those who don't know Geoffroy, he's been with us for some time, helped out with pacman development (in particular, with code in the signed-packages arena), and has been a TU for since May of this year. He plans on primarily helping us out with Bluetooth packages (which we've been slacking on these days), among other things. Hip-hip-hooray!

On this particular concern, let me give you a few of my nicknames to avoid you this issue: - Google or Linux (seems irrevelant here) - Chewbacca/Chewy - Mr Muscle or "Bucheron" ("woodcutter" in French) If you still insist on using my name, it's something like Geoffrey, by removing the "d" sound from the initial "dj" and replacing "ey" by "wa" like in "war". -- Geoffroy Carrier

Ah non! ce surnom est réservé aux Canadiens! (Eh no! This nickname is for Canadians only!)

"wa like in François" is better ;) BTW bienvenue parmi nous! F

That's because I always wore Canadian shirts (surchemises) and still often do!
"wa like in François" is better ;) Is it a well-known first name for US people?
BTW bienvenue parmi nous! Yeeha!

I've know a little bit more French than most people, but I still think the pronunciation is well known. At least as much as these things can be well known. I still wish 'Helmut' was a more popular name 8)
