Heh - but that is one cool email address.
The funny thing is that this is not even a valid email address. The local part (everything before the @) should be at most 64 characters long, and there itâs 84 characters long.

Meeku: "our" means the whole mailing list. You should have used the word "my" and if you are a closet racist by condemning me from participating on this open mailing list then it does not do Arch Linux's reputation any good.

Well I refrained from saying anything until now. I'll be honest. I found your original mail to be a bit obnoxious and a bit spammish. I have nothing against your race or religion, but I think your email address is ridiculous. If you want to spread your message, at least put it in an email signature for God/Allah/Yaweh/Buddha/Guanyin/Vishnu's sake. Also the Arch mailing lists are not a place for religious preaching or discussion. Thanks for participating. Namaste.

I have to agree that I also found that the original post might be spam. The list has been spammed before, not with announcing the availability of another font but with something similar. Both the email address and the "press release" looked fishy. However, I also gave the original post the benefit of the doubt since it seems to be something that may benefit a community of people (personally I have no idea what the OP was on about). -- Mauro Santos

Up to this point this thread has been ignore-able, but what sort of nonsense is this? Accusations of racism simply because your spam is being identified as such? What 'spam' is is decided by the recipients. I personally think this whole thread is spam. I'm pretty sure I'm not alone on this list in thinking that.

just so you know, your silly overly long email address alone qualifies you for spamming and the first mail sent by your was immediately flagged as such. It also doesn't help that your messages appear somewhat like it was written by a spammer and the you proceed to argue about it as-if your original mail was relevant to this ML.

It's spam because your promoting your font on a mailing list where such a thing is not just rude, but very unwelcome.

It's not a silly accusation when you're doing exactly what you're accused off. You're spamming the mailing list trying to get people to use your font. If by "hounding" you mean "not letting you get away with spam" then yes, that's what we're doing.
