Hello, I lost my LocalSettings.php file so I'm going through the MediaWiki installation again, I'm up to the "Connect to database" stage, I enter "/srv/http/data" for the database directory and "testdb" as the name, after I click continue it displays a error message saying it can't create the directory because the parent directory isn't writable, I've already tried setting all involved directories to 777 but it still displays the same error message.

Problem solved, I needed to add "/srv/http/" to the open_basedir in the httpd config, I should have also checked the error_log from Apache.
