Question regarding the inclusion of plasma 6 alpha in kde-unstable
Hi, Recently I noticed that the kde-unstable official repository started to include some packages from plasma 6 alpha (https://archlinux.org/packages/?sort=&repo=KDE-Unstable&q=&maintainer=&flagged=). However, currently the wiki (https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Official_repositories#kde-unstable) states that
This repository contains the latest /beta/ or /Release Candidate/ of KDE <https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/KDE> Plasma and Applications.
So this inclusion of alpha packages might be a bit unexpected to users. Should the wiki be modified to reflect the fact that it might also include alpha versions of packages? I do not want to make that change before making sure that I am not misrepresenting the ``official'' policy, or the agreed upon policy by the community. Thanks for all the hard work! Best, Yifan

I highly doubt that alpha vs beta is going to be a big deal for anybody who has the [kde-unstable] repo enabled.

There is no written rule of what goes there, the rule is "whatever the KDE packagers are willing to and have time for". So anything you write there is bound to be wrong at any point.

I was actually expecting it (not having read this Wiki section before) considering other alpha packages were on that repo before. I'm actually also using the alpha packages (for KDE and also Qt) so I appreciate you providing them.

Unless we would put that quote literally on the Wiki. I guess that would actually make sense, together with the remark that this *usually* means "alpha/beta/rc versions of Qt and KDE packages".
