hi. when i go to http://ftp.archlinux.org/, i got a site like the one showing up at http://www.response-o-matic.com/ should it be the ftp site of archlinux.org ?

You are seeing how shared servers work. http != ftp.
What Dan's saying is try to access ftp://ftp.archlinux.org and you'll see it works.

As Dan said, this is a shared server. We're borrowing bandwidth off the kind owners of that response-o-matic service. I've added a vhost for ftp.archlinux.org now, so you can see it via HTTP if that's your thing. Thanks, - Judd
