Hi, I'm having trouble using my public samba share. The server setup is following (some lines omitted) ... security = user map to guest = Bad User unix extensions = no [public] path = /srv/samba comment = Public Share public = yes browsable = yes available = yes writable = yes and this is related part of the fstab on the client. //lada/public /mnt/samba cifs gid=network,dir_mode=0770,file_mode=0770,noauto,password=none,workgroup=PRIVAT 0 0 Basically it works but when i transfer some larger file, after a couple of minutes, i get the input/output error. I'm not sure but it seems to me this is caused by the client side ? I've tried to enable unix extensions and simplify mount options but it didn't help either. Both machines are running arch, samba is 3.6.0-8 and cifs 4.9-3. I'm quite new to samba so any help would be greatly appreciated. pl
