This is pure speculation from my end, but I would guess there is some bug with an unescaped + and Django url parsing.

eg. tcp should be tcp_wrappers bcm43xx-fwcutter is the same but theres no link to it.

As I said, this has been fixed some time ago: http://projects.archlinux.org/?p=archweb_dev.git;a=commit;h=801c4d723e727268... But the db will not change until the package is updated, or probably dropped.
bcm43xx-fwcutter is the same but theres no link to it.

As I see it the depends detection is fixed in reporead.py, except maybe a missing + . However, the fixed dependencies won't show up, until archboot is updated. Which is highly unlikely, as it is not used anymore afaik.
