[arch-general] What changed: udev PolicyKit - No mount of usb or CD for non-root?
Listmates, After updates this past week or so (not sure exactly when), Arch no longer mounts usb or CD/DVDs when inserted. What is the most likely culprit? -- David C. Rankin, J.D.,P.E. Let me guess... You updated udev, but didn't update hal. The storage backend of your installed hal package links to libvolume-id.so, which is no longer in the udev package. You'll need the new hal package which links to libblkid from the new util-linux-ng.
