[arch-general] archweb isn't updating its record.
I've updated mhwaveedit to version 1.4.16. The package is in SVN and ftp but archweb doesn't want to update its info. http://www.archlinux.org/packages/community/i686/mhwaveedit/ Anyone have an idea what the cause might be? Thanks.

Is it just community that is affected?

Looks like it was just a timing thing. The DB is only updated every hour. I ran the script manually and it succeeded.

And the packages are only synced from sigurd to gerolde every hour, half an hour or so. So it might take a while until they show.

Interesting. There were some issues with the thunderbird-spell packages in community too... they weren't cleaned up properly

What confused me is that it was taking so long. I'm glad it works now hahh. Thanks.

How did you get that url ? When I look for vim, it directs me to : http://www.archlinux.org/packages/?q=vim If I change vim+ to vim in your url, it seems to work.

From the main page click More in Recent Packages block, then search for vim.

Yes, seems to be fixed now (with either URL). -- Roman Kyrylych (Роман Кирилич)

Hah! Found the reason. The problem was with the extra space: "vim ". The search function should trim the text entered in the search field. -- Roman Kyrylych (Роман Кирилич)

Yeah, but they're both in the same cron.hourly dir, which is run in globbing order. I'm fairly certain the sync job will do its thing before the db is updated

Might be related, but the following 2 repos have been completely out of whack for a couple of days: Server = ftp://mirror.cs.vt.edu/pub/ArchLinux/$repo/os/i686 Server = http://mirror.cs.vt.edu/pub/ArchLinux/$repo/os/i686 I have a i586 box that I have attempted to update for the past several days which kept telling me no updates were available (which I knew wasn't the case because I had had numerous x86_64 updates over the same period of time). I moved these guys down in the list and updates then proceeded normally. -- David C. Rankin, J.D.,P.E. Try pacman -Syy first in this case
