Hi Pete, what sort of cut & paste issue? Text? Copying items when using Xfce's file manager Thunar? Doesn't it work, when using the mouse, when using short cuts or are you missing a clipboard or something completely different? Is this issue related to all or just some apps, if so which apps? You try to copy and paste by right click menu or by third mouse button or something else?

Consider to follow the xfce mailing list too, since there seemingly was and perhaps still is a serious Thunar issue, that is related to a copy option and could cause loss of files.

Ok on switching to Openbox i will have a look at that .

I knew of the >1tb external drive problem with thunar .

Right An update . Now got full cut & paste working from and to terminal and applications browser ect it is down to "etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/10-evdev.conf" Also on KDE Plasma now working quite well but it does totally lock up and need the power pulling now and then but will start another thread on this when i can start to tie it down Pete .
