Hi,
I was surprised to find git.archlinux.org/svntogit/packages.git/ and git.archlinux.org/svntogit/community.git/ being no longer updated since a few days. I know, there was a github mirror of the repositories set up some time ago - did I miss some deprecation notice for the old locations or is this some oversight on the arch end?
regards, Erich

There was some devops work on the server and the timer/services synching the repositories where probably not enabled. Thus they died after a reboot. The services are enabled and started so you should see the repo synching again.

Cheers!

Thanks a lot for all your efforts in maintaining these important services :) I'm also using that one whenever I need to build older versions of packages for comparison or make manual changes, and it's good to know it hasn't been replaced by GitHub, at least yet :) I don't like being dependent on huge commercial services, but you might know that already judging from my previous posts on that matter ;) So good news, thanks a lot!

Hi,
I have still some confusion about the arch git endpoints: For the iso sources, I cloned/monitor/follow git://projects.archlinux.org/archiso.git, but this has the last commit 10 months ago. Gitlab and github have recent commits, it seems. Did there also some update script die? Otherwise, it would be a good idea to change the link chain I followed:
- -> "Projects in Git" ->
- -> "archiso.git" ->
https://git.archlinux.org/archiso.git/
regards, Erich
