[arch-general] stellarium and x with intel 965
Hi folks, Stellarium won't run properly in my ThinkPad R61 with Intel 965 graphic card. The main window with stars, labels, grids etc. looks fine, but all the dialogs and toolbars' icons are distorted and not "readable" at all. The screenshot is at [1]. stellarium 0.10.2-3 xorg-server 1.7.3.901-1 xorg driver "intel" I've checked it with the same configuration with different HW (EEE PC) - it works perfectly. Any ideas? Thanks, Sergey [1] http://ingeniware.com/downloads/images402b3d63aad79fe059b514174bffe4ae/stell...
Hey, I have the same problem. Is that related to the intel driver? stellarium 0.10.2-3 xf86-video-intel 2.9.1-1 xorg-server 1.7.3.901-1 libdrm 2.4.16-1 libgl 7.6-2 mesa 7.6-2 mesa 7.6-2 It's on my thinkpad T400, intel X4500MHD graphic card. In addition, after a recent upgrade(i think it's about libdrm), I notice the output of glxgears fallen by half(from 1000FPS->500FPS). I am not sure if they are related. Hi there, I am not sure if you've solved this. It is not a bug of specific hardware, but a general one of stellarium itself. https://bugs.launchpad.net/stellarium/+bug/426417 It can be temporarily solved by using driconf(in community repository), and disable texture tiling for stellarium. Also look at this http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=87148 Regards, On Mon, Dec 21, 2009 at 3:39 PM, LI Ye <leeyee.seu@gmail.com> wrote:
