[arch-general] A bug in compiz-core
Hi, I was trying to configure compiz and kde, when I ran fusion-icon on the terminal, it told me that /usr/lib/compiz/libpng.so.14 could not be loaded as required by compiz. But I found /usr/lib/compiz/libpng.so and symlinked to libpng.so.14 that fixed the problem. But is this a bug to be reported ?? Also I don't see bug reporting for community packages in 'Category' list of bug tracker. -- Nilesh Govindarajan Site & Server Adminstrator www.itech7.com

no. is intended to link against libpng 1.4.0. the thing is your system is not fully up do date. pacman -Syu should solve the problem

in the future if you want to submit bugs for packages in community, here is a tutorial: http://arch.har-ikkje.net/gfx/stuff/cbugs.png -- Ionut
