I have a question about my "HP Deskjet F2280" printer/scanner.

I could not get it working in Arch Linux with "sane" or "simple- scan". It is visible in a "lsusb" command and found by a "sudo sane-find- scanner" as a possible usb scanner. But it is not found in a "sudo scanimage -L" command. And "simple-scanner" or "xsane" cant find the sanner either.

Regards Björn My Deskjet 2720e requires the hplip-plugin package from AUR to be able to use it as scanner. Might be worth trying.
