Just want to know what you guys think about this. The biggest concern, from a lot of people, appears to be that syslog-ng is dual licensed, so patches may get denied because they are already in the pay version.

I didn't look at rsyslogd, but I am actually happy with syslog-ng. So unless we have a REAL reason for switching (and some bitchy licensing concerns are not a real reason to me) I vote -1.

I hadn't seen that before, but I must admit, I'm intrigued... I'll be looking into rsyslog more.
