[arch-general] Got Dummy Output after recovered from Suspension
The model is Dell Inspiron 7560. The system got no sound after recovered from a suspension. After reboot, got Dummy Output. Have rebooted for several times, but useless. Re-enabled sound controller in firmware, not work. Reinstalled latest linux kernel as well as pulseaudio, not work. Ran the following commands listed below, got the following outputs: % dmesg | grep snd [ 3.220554] snd_hda_intel 0000:00:1f.3: enabling device (0000 -> 0002) [ 4.920606] snd_hda_intel 0000:00:1f.3: bound 0000:00:02.0 (ops i915_audio_component_bind_ops [i915]) [ 7.964804] snd_hda_intel 0000:00:1f.3: azx_get_response timeout, switching to polling mode: last cmd=0x000f0000 [ 8.971491] snd_hda_intel 0000:00:1f.3: No response from codec, disabling MSI: last cmd=0x000f0000 [ 9.978141] snd_hda_intel 0000:00:1f.3: Codec #0 probe error; disabling it... % cat /proc/asound/devices 2: [ 0] : control 3: [ 0- 3]: digital audio playback 4: [ 0- 7]: digital audio playback 5: [ 0- 8]: digital audio playback 6: [ 0- 9]: digital audio playback 7: [ 0-10]: digital audio playback 8: [ 0- 2]: hardware dependent 33: : timer % cat /proc/asound/cards 0 [PCH ]: HDA-Intel - HDA Intel PCH HDA Intel PCH at 0xd1228000 irq 282 Have no idea what is going on.
