Server Migration - mirrors.foxmire.space
by Enid Brown 10 Jun '26

10 Jun '26

Hello everyone, we are migrating the host for mirrors.foxmire.space. This is a live migration and ideally *shouldn't* cause any issues as both the old and new host will stay up for the transitionary period. The DNS entries have been updated just now and should soon reliably point to the new host. Bandwidth has not changed. If there are any issues during this time feel free to conctact me under this e-mail address or mirrors(a)foxmire.space mailto:mirrors@foxmire.space. The removal of the old host is scheduled for June 20 at around 12PM CEST. Kind regards, Enid

Downtime for archlinux.mailtunnel.eu
by David Lumaye 01 May '26

01 May '26

Hello, The Tier 2 mirror archlinux.mailtunnel.eu has been down since this morning (May 1st) at 5 AM UTC due to a total server failure. It will be back online by end of day tomorrow. Please also note that the mirror URL will change: *archlinux.mailtunnel.eu <http://archlinux.mailtunnel.eu>* will become *archlinux.chindit.eu <http://archlinux.chindit.eu>*. Both URLs will be working as soon as the mirror is back online. *archlinux.mailtunnel.eu <http://archlinux.mailtunnel.eu>* will remain valid until the end of January 2029 (so you still have 3 years to update your configuration! ^^). Apologies for any inconvenience caused by this downtime. David Lumaye
