Hey everyone, Due to increasing concerns regarding regulations and compliance requirements within China, We have made the difficult decision to shut down the QVQNetwork Open Source Mirrors service. The service will be officially closed on 1st November, 2024. After this time, you will no longer be able to access open-source software mirrors through mirrors.qvq.net.cn. OSS Mirror mirror.qctronics.com will enter maintenance tonight to upgrade networking equipment and enhance performance & reliabillity. The https mirror will remain online during the maintenance but with degraded performance. The rsync mirror will be offline during part the maintenance. The maintenance is scheduled to begin at ~19:00 EDT and finish at ~23:00 EDT. Changes to the mirror: Available WAN bandwidth upgrade (1 GBPS -> 3 GBPS); Available LAN bandwidth upgrade (1 GBPS -> 10 GBPS), allows for internal transfers to have a smaller impact on WAN traffic; Newer network switch is gonna be installed (more reliabillity); Servers are gonna be stripped of their DEs, which will increase available ressources (better performance & reliabillity). -FF

I would like to inform you of a potential service disruption affecting the Tier 2 mirror https://archlinux.org/mirrors/nguyenhoang.cloud/. Due to the impending Yagi typhoon, my city may implement power cuts for safety reasons. As a result, users may experience downtime between 6:00 PM on September 7th and 6:00 AM on September 8th (ICT). I am closely monitoring the situation and will work to restore services as soon as possible if downtime occurs. Thank you for your understanding and patience during this time. The Tier 2 Mirror: mirror.tmmworkshop.com on both HTTP and HTTPS will be down over the next couple days. There are legal proceeding involving the FBI and some of my equipment was. I don't have a time line on when i will get my equipment back. If anyone knows a criminal defense lawyer working with computer law in north NJ area you would recommend it would be appreciated.
