Subject: AARNet HTTPS mirror
Hi,
I'm an Arch Linux user and use your mirror (thanks!). I noticed that by
default your mirror is designated as *http://mirror.aarnet.edu.au/pub/archlinux
<http://mirror.aarnet.edu.au/pub/archlinux>* in my package manager
configuration file but it is also available from
*https://mirror.aarnet.edu.au/pub/archlinux
<http://mirror.aarnet.edu.au/pub/archlinux>* with a valid (EV) SSL
certificate. May I suggest you advertise your mirror as HTTPS to the Arch
Linux maintainers?
I've CC'd arch-mirrors(a)archlinux.org in on this email. I suspect this is
who you'll need to email to make this happen.
Thanks.
