Correction: mirror2.keiminem.com Physical Relocation & Extended Service Restoration (Feb 7–11, 2026 KST)

Dear Users, Hello, this is Keiminem. I am writing to issue a correction to the previous notice regarding mirror2.keiminem.com. This interruption is due to a physical server relocation. Please note that even after the server is restored, the mirror service will not resume until the distribution maintainers/administrators register the new IP address. The relocation window is scheduled for February 7–11, 2026 (KST). During this period, mirror2.keiminem.com will be unavailable, and service restoration may extend beyond this window depending on when the new IP is registered. mirror.keiminem.com will remain available. Rsync error with geo.mirror.pkgbuild.com mirrors

Hi, I noticed today that my local mirror hasn't properly synchronised from london.mirror.pkgbuild.com since the 18th April. Upon checking the logs i noticed i was getting the following errors rsync: connection unexpectedly closed (4112177 bytes received so far) [receiver] rsync error: error in rsync protocol data stream (code 12) at io.c(232) [receiver=3.4.1] rsync: [generator] write error: Broken pipe (32) rsync error: error in socket IO (code 10) at io.c(849) [generator=3.4.1] It seems to only be happening when rsync tries to actually download the files as i can perform a --list-only operation with no errors. I've checked https://archlinux.org/mirrors/geo.mirror.pkgbuild.com/ and it appears other mirrors are also experiencing this issue. Is there some downtime or a known issue with rsync on these mirrors i missed or is there perhaps something malfunctioning here? Thanks, Ava
