This is fine. Your mirror is now added to the list. Should I email you personally about any issues with it, or is there some kind of mirror-admin@... dedicated address? -- Roman Kyrylych (Роман Кирилич)

how I do for syncronizes from rsync.archlinux.org? in shell script say http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Local_Mirror: "Only official public mirrors are allowed to use rsync.archlinux.org" -- Xavier Corredor Llano Bogotá - Colombia

You cannot. Less than 10 mirrors are allowed to synchronize from rsync.archlinux.org
in shell script say http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Local_Mirror:
"Only official public mirrors are allowed to use rsync.archlinux.org"
The wiki is outdated. -- Roman Kyrylych (Роман Кирилич)

Something happened with out mirror db, which may have caused invalid rsync.conf generation. Starting an investigation... -- Roman Kyrylych (Роман Кирилич)
In /iso/2009.02 the symlink 2009.08 points to itself, leading to infinite recursion.

I have similar problem syncronize from: rsync://archlinux.c3sl.ufpr.br/archlinux/ receiving file list ... symlink has no referent: "/iso/archboot/history/Changelog-2008.03-1.txt" (in archlinux) symlink has no referent: "/iso/archboot/history/Changelog-2007.08-2.txt" (in archlinux) -- Xavier Corredor Llano Bogotá - Colombia

Interesting. At least on the master server this seems to be correct: Changelog-2007.08-2.txt -> ../../2007.08/2007.08-2-Changelog.txt Changelog-2008.03-1.txt -> ../../2008.03/2008.03-1-archboot-Changelog.txt So, my guess is that there is a problem with archlinux.c3sl.ufpr.br -- Pierre Schmitz, https://users.archlinux.de/~pierre

It's not a problem, it's because we exclude the very old releases. I know about these messages but since the repository is correct I hadn't bothered about them. To avoid confusion with other mirrors I've just excluded the symlinks as well.

I see. I now solved that on our side and moved all isos older than 2009 to our archives which are not synced by default. So there is no need to exclude some files on your side anymore. Just let us know of such problems. Those old isos are of no use for most people anyway. Greetings, Pierre -- Pierre Schmitz, https://users.archlinux.de/~pierre

Good! I was just going to exclude the 2009 ones as well :-)

Sure. I didn't say anything because I thought it was your policy to keep them.
