[arch-mirrors] Mirror out of sync / under maintenance
Hello every-one, My mirror -arch.nimukaito.net- seems to be out-of-sync since a couple of day due to a lack of disk space. I will allocate more disk space ASAP (tonight or tomorow night). Should 150 GB be enough for a long time ? Cheers -- Floreal Toumikian, Contributeur de Lakka http://www.lakka.tv/ -- Floreal Toumikian, Trésorier @teleragno

Our repos tend to hover around 35-40GB so 60GB should be fine, maybe slightly more if you don't sync often (more old packages lying around during the sync). 150 seems overkill to me, but if you aren't short on space...

Thanks. Maintenance done, disk space increased Cheers -- Floréal Toumikian, Contributeur de Lakka http://www.lakka.tv/
Got 47G used by our mirror here, but it's a complete mirror (nothing excluded).
That is a bit weird, since my mirror, without any exclusions uses 79 GB, syncing from mirrors.kernel.org.
Ok, here are my used space details: [arch@tina ~]$ du -sh mirror/* 55M mirror/community 168K mirror/community-staging 512K mirror/community-testing 3.9M mirror/core 41M mirror/extra 56K mirror/gnome-unstable 8.3G mirror/iso 48K mirror/kde-unstable 4.0K mirror/lastsync 4.0K mirror/lastupdate 676K mirror/multilib 20K mirror/multilib-staging 20K mirror/multilib-testing 38G mirror/pool 32K mirror/staging 1.5M mirror/testing
% du -hd 1 arch 38G arch/pool 84K arch/staging 56K arch/kde-unstable 812K arch/community-testing 73M arch/extra 104K arch/gnome-unstable 1.7M arch/testing 4.9M arch/core 40K arch/multilib-testing 2.0M arch/multilib 32K arch/multilib-staging 9.0G arch/other 87M arch/community 8.3G arch/iso 208K arch/community-staging 24G arch/sources 79G arch
Ok so it depends on the tier-1 you sync from then, and that would be the right person to ask how much disk space you need as far as i understand.

Right. Just noticed I only sync the packages on my local mirror and not iso/ other/ sources/. Those probably add quite a bit. kernel.org has all of that I think.
