Kernel panic with archlinux32 on Intel Core Solo

Hi, attempting to convert an old Laptop* to a usable (aka Arch-based) device I run into a kernel panic when booting the latest AL32. The messages dumped on screen seem pretty unhelpful, and I wanted to make sure this is not due the dated hardware which is not supported anymore?
