Hi Everyone, I'm trying to get my creative webcam vista working in arch64. The gspca module loads ok and the device is detected, but "xawtv -c /dev/video0" just gives me a black window. Not sure if this issue is arch64 only so I'm posting to both ML's. $[varun@arch ~]# xawtv -c /dev/video0 This is xawtv-3.95, running on Linux/x86_64 (2.6.22-ARCH) WARNING: Your X-Server has no DGA support. /dev/video0 [v4l]: no overlay support v4l-conf had some trouble, trying to continue anyway Warning: Cannot convert string "-*-ledfixed-medium-r-*--39-*-*-*-c-*-*-*" to type FontStruct ioctl: VIDIOCMCAPTURE(frame=0;height=120;width=160;format=7): Invalid argument v4l: timeout (got SIGALRM), hardware/driver problems? ioctl: VIDIOCSYNC(int=0): Interrupted system call ioctl: VIDIOCMCAPTURE(frame=0;height=120;width=160;format=9): Invalid argument v4l: timeout (got SIGALRM), hardware/driver problems? ioctl: VIDIOCSYNC(int=0): Interrupted system call v4l: timeout (got SIGALRM), hardware/driver problems? ioctl: VIDIOCSYNC(int=0): Interrupted system call ioctl: VIDIOCMCAPTURE(frame=0;height=120;width=160;format=1): Invalid argument ioctl: VIDIOCMCAPTURE(frame=0;height=120;width=160;format=13): Invalid argument Also, [varun@arch ~]# xawtv -hwscan This is xawtv-3.95, running on Linux/x86_64 (2.6.22-ARCH) looking for available devices port 275-306 type : Xvideo, image scaler name : NV17 Video Texture port 307-338 type : Xvideo, image scaler name : NV05 Video Blitter /dev/video0: OK [ -device /dev/video0 ] type : v4l name : Creative Webcam Vista 0x403b flags: capture Thanks for any help you can give.
