Hi David, thanks for the info. that is sad news indeed. Ecasound does support LV2 plugins, but there are issues. Some work better than others. I am not aware of a single alternative to Ecasound. And I have been worrying about that for a while now. -- Even if I were to consider reinstalling and configuring a GUI, solving the major issues behind extreme speech output latencies, nothing much would be gained. Many plugin GUIs used JUCE. JUCE has seen basic accessibility support, but ONLY on mac and windows. And even there it takes a while for that to trickle downstream towards the users. Sorry, for the moment I don't have a Linux answer. I know that I could find solutions on one of the other OSes, but I don't have the budget to buy the basic hardware to run with with any kind of reasonable efficiency.
