[arch-projects] [netctl] possible to move to extra?
Hi, I replaced netcfg with netctl on my latest archboot iso and now I saw that it is still only in testing available. Would it be possible to move it to extra repository, else my ftp install routine is broken. If it's not possible it's not a big deal i'll post a hint then. greetings tpowa -- Tobias Powalowski Archlinux Developer & Package Maintainer (tpowa) http://www.archlinux.org tpowa@archlinux.org

bump,
anyone an opinion?
I'm opposed to moving to extra. I'd prefer moving to core+base and deprecating netcfg/moving netcfg to extra.

Me too. In all modesty I think netctl is a nice way of having text-based uniform network configuration. @Florian: can you put 0.7 in [testing]? Their are some fixes in 0.7 that you want when netctl hits [core] (or [extra]), so there is no need to investigate a move of 0.6 to [core] (or [extra]).
