Just to let you know: a fix (or rather workaround) is making its way through the proper channels and will hopefully land in mainland and then a stable kernel soon. I have been tracking it upstream and will make sure it won't get lost.
Ok, good to know someone is tracking this. Though I still do not understand why the default kernel has patch for logitech mice, but people with hard kernel panic with broadcom wifi are left alone. Don't get me wrong... I do link the idea of shipping package unmodified from upstream.
