It's old, It's hard to know which version of the installer they are talking about, it's hard to get an overview/keep track of requests, etc etc.

Can someone close it and suggest to use our lovely bugtracker?

Despite the fact that it was started in 2003 theres some interesting suggestions. http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?pid=3067#p3067 is similar to http://bugs.archlinux.org/task/12942 , having a clear distinction of groups. Greg
