I confirm that archlinux-2009.01-beta3-ftp-i686.iso has a x86_64 kernel (or at least seems to have). The isolinux ftp image archlinux-2009.01-beta3-ftp-i686-isolinux.iso has an i686 kernel inside.<br><br>I&#39;m trying to perform a clean install from it, I reply when finished.<br>

it because it contains th x86_64 kernel instead of the i686 one. I&#39;ll download<br>
the other images to check if they have the same problem.<br>
