Hi, Output from latest archiso scripts.. mrgreen@arch releng]$ ls airootfs build.sh efiboot isolinux packages.x86_64 pacman.conf profiledef.sh syslinux [mrgreen@arch releng]$ sudo mkarchiso profiledef.sh [mkarchiso] ERROR: Profile '/home/mrgreen/archiso/configs/releng/profiledef.sh' does not exist! [mrgreen@arch releng]$ Path is correct but mkarchiso does not see the profile. A problem with if statement maybe??
Hi Mr Green, I use the line from the wiki: ./build.sh. -v -w /path/to/work -o / path/to/out Mark Op wo 26 aug. 2020 20:59 schreef Mr Green <mrgreen@archbang.org>:

Sorry for that messy line, here it is correct: ./build.sh -v -w /path/to/work -o /path/to/out BTW. build.sh points to mkarchiso;) Op wo 26 aug. 2020 21:13 schreef qinohe v <qinohe@gmail.com>:

I understand that build.sh will disappear in favour of mkarchiso. An initial run was too much for my old laptop decided to shutdown ๐ Waiting to see how mkarchiso handles customise root ... Yes, I know the change will come ๐ However I just saw the wiki changed today... I tried the command David gave, it(still) builds fine. Thanks, Mark Op wo 26 aug. 2020 22:19 schreef Mr Green <mrgreen@archbang.org>:

Was just going by gitlab instructions, given that build script will be deprecated in the near future. -w and - o have defaults of work / out so for testing not needed. Am interested to see how customise root will evolve. On Wed, 26 Aug 2020 at 20:13, qinohe v via arch-releng < arch-releng@archlinux.org> wrote:

Hi! The command has been changed to accept the directory in which a profile resides as parameter: sudo mkarchiso -w path/to/work_dir -o path/to/output_dir /usr/share/archiso/configs/releng/ In a future version we can maybe extend this by the possibility to derive the directory from the path to a profiledef.sh, but this will require more bash path magic :) Best, David -- https://sleepmap.de
