[arch-releng] ISO Dir README (Draft)
Hello, a draft for a README file in our ISO directory (or where we have to explain what each file is for). We could make the file names anonymous like archlinux-200X.yy-ftp-i686.iso or name them exactly as the current files. Then we have to change this README each ISO release. --------------------- ArchLinux Installation and Live-CD's ---------------------------- All CD's and USB-Images are installation mediums and Live-CD's, which an be used as maintenance and rescue systems. FTP-ISO's/Images: ----------------- These are be the preferred install mediums for ArchLinux. Looks great. The only addition is that I've been putting the isolinux at the end like: sed s/.iso/-isolinux.iso/ Do we have any opinion on where this would go? I just figured this way it will dirsort BELOW the right ISOs.

Maybe two ftp-iso sections like this: FTP-ISO's/Images (Bootloader Grub): ----------------------------------- These are the.... foo bar FTP-ISO's/Images (Bootloader isolinux): --------------------------------------- For those who have problems .... foo bar And please: Read my English written texts carefully. I break all rules and verbs... And I'm totally uninhibited doing this ;-) Gerhard
