True, I've seen them, too. But I like things consistent: either both the form and the comments in monospace, or both in sans serif.

Or explicitly ask to put code snippets in pastebins like https://ptpb.pw, so comments aren't cluttered with code.
It's a bit of an overkill for a three-or-four-line-snippet sometimes. And even if it's suggested, people will inevitably post code into comments.
Perhaps, but this is very thin ice, regarding what the AUR should be, provide an interface to that service and automatically add a link to the pasted code. But I don't think I like this idea (though it's doable).
Markdown comments might help deal with this too, but I'm sure the idea will quickly get shot down. :( -- Hugo Osvaldo Barrera
