I vote for deleting el_GR and keeping el, unless el_GR strings are translated to a variant of the Greek language that is specific to Greece (uses some terms that you wouldn't use in other Greek-speaking countries).
There is also el_*CY* (for cyprus), where the differences are minimal, but do exist. That's why I chose el_GR in first place.
I would also recommend using plain el. Even if el_CY is done later, then there is no need to have both translations be done at that specific of level.
I just deleted el_GR.
