[aur-dev] Old, unapplied patches
Hello AUR developers, there is a great backlog of patches that work well, but are not applied. Among them are: * The right-to-left fixes for the hebrew translation * Making links in comments clickable * Deletion through the web interface It would be great if you could take some time to review and apply them. It's a pity nobody even bothers to reply to this topic. Obviously there is no point in contributing to the AUR if the contribution is just ignored. -- freenode/pyropeter ETAOIN SHRDLU

I will have a look at that.
* Making links in comments clickable
That's not true, I already pushed this [1].
* Deletion through the web interface
What exactly do you mean by this?

Sorry for the late reply, I must have skipped this thread somehow. [1] http://projects.archlinux.org/aur.git/commit/?id=60edcd04e523230507922520095...

Peter Lewis wrote five patches providing a way to send deletion requests to aur-general using the AUR web interface. Announcement: http://www.mail-archive.com/aur-dev@archlinux.org/msg00951.html Patches: http://www.mail-archive.com/aur-dev@archlinux.org/msg00974.html http://www.mail-archive.com/aur-dev@archlinux.org/msg00975.html http://www.mail-archive.com/aur-dev@archlinux.org/msg00976.html http://www.mail-archive.com/aur-dev@archlinux.org/msg00977.html http://www.mail-archive.com/aur-dev@archlinux.org/msg00978.html I'm happy the communication is reestablished. Well, I have to apologise for this. I sat on these patches for far too long and I couldn't find the time or interest to apply them. I do really appreciate the community members' contributions. We finally have someone new (Lukas) that has taken the initiative to maintain and develop the AUR, so hopefully we can see more of these contributions being applied if I'm not able to.

Unfortunately, both RTL and "flag for deletion" patch sets no longer apply, so they need to be rebased against current HEAD. I'll try to invest some work in that.
