[aur-general] AUR upload problem

Hello, i have a problem uploading a package to AUR. It's revoked, but there isn't a package named nxcomp, neither in AUR nor in official Repos. Error is(translated): You are not allowd to overwrite the existing package nxcomp I've send a mail on arch-genereal ML and Callan point me to a releavant bugreport http://bugs.archlinux.org/task/8672 The problem is: This package is a dependency of some other packages which i already put in AUR. So could one of you TUs please put the package in AUR? Maybe orphand after that, so i could take it. I attach the tarball, it should be in category libs. [aur-general] Orphaning my packages

Hi, I have orphaned my unsupported packages as I will no longer be using Arch. I don't agree with Arch's reluctance to fix bugs which they consider upstream. I recently installed Mandriva on one of my systems and was amazed to see all the features that are broken in Arch's GNOME, due to them being upstream bugs, fully working in that distribution. As my principle reason for using GNU/Linux is to get work done and Arch's philosophy seems, to me, to be working against this I feel it is time to depart from Arch. Hello, I've tried compile the newest revision of CinelerraCV (rev.1058) but it stops with numerous errors. Firstly, cinelerra-cv-swscaler.patch it's not needed yet because it's added to official tree. Hi there, I just noticed that we have skype in [community]. After a quick review of their license I would assume we are not allowed to redistribute it: http://www.skype.com/legal/promote/distribute/ "You will not distribute Skype Software through other media than CD-ROM or DVD, unless approved by Skype in an explicit written communication to You." If I am not really wrong here I would assume we should remove that crap asap. As a sidenote: please read the license before adding any package to a repo. I just noticed that community/network/libfbclient contains tons of patches and other files amounting to 2.1MB. And these are not used in the PKGBUILD at all. Douglas, was this stuff perhaps added by mistake? Just wondering ;-) F

Hi all I'm trying to create a package for an OpenOffice extension but I couldn't find the right path where to extract the extension file.
