Due to Sun's downloading silliness - I think the source should be stored on our ftp, otherwise it gets downloaded with the huge filename. If you are interested in maintaining some packages - just adopt them. It won't be a problem for me to update those that will be left, if new versions of them are not released frequently, so don't feel it as your duty to grab all of them. Hello, I'd like to request deleting two of my packages: - perl-file-copy-recursive (not needed anymore, used to be a dependency of rdup) - rdup-utils-svn (obsolete by new versions of rdup, which contain the utils again, moreover it's not working properly anymore) Thanks, bender02

Is that somehow related to the that thing about moving of [community] or is something wrong with me / AUR ? Hey, guys... I'm a newbie with a question. Presuming I've already uploaded example-4.5-1.src.tar.gz to AUR, when I later make maintenance changes, do I just upload my example-4.6-1.src.tar.gz the same way? That is, will AUR just smartly figure out that it's an update of an existing package? (I'm guessing it'll key off packagename/myname...?) Thanks! -Beej

I'd like to request the orphaning of all packages formerly maintained by user shinlun. I contacted him some days ago about the outdated packages owned by him, w/o response. When looking at the dates of his last package updates, it appears he quit using Arch in June 2007. -- Follow The White Rabyte . . .
