[aur-general] Moving the AUR/community

Hey all, This is part informational, and part not. We have a donated server from SevenL networks that has sat mostly unused up until now. What we would like to do is more the AUR and community on to that machine, so that TUs can get real (limited) shell accounts and the people managing this side of the project get a bit more control. As far as I know, things are almost ready to go, but what we need to do is setup a good time to "freeze" the AUR and community so we can switch over the DNS and change checkout locations. Once this is complete, we can move forward with switching community to SVN and using the official dbscripts for managing the repo. This way you guys can get your own testing repo too! Sooo... the list, as I see it: * Decide on a date and time for the move * Get SSH keys from all TUs * Switch DNS over * Disable the AUR/community on gerolde Anything I'm missing? Suggestions as to a good date?

[aur-general] readline GPL violation on two pkgs?

[aur-general] eclipse-pdt package

Hi all, I maintain the eclipse-pdt-all-in-one package ( http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=19272 ) in aur and I will soon face a problem: Until now there was only one package for i686, and there was no package for x86_64 arch. But now, there will be a package for this arch too. The problem is that there are 2 different links, one for each arch and I don't know if it's possible in the same PKGBUILD to detect the arch and to download the package needed. I know it would be easier to build 2 packages, but I would want to know if it's possible somehow to build one package for both architectures. [aur-general] Short period of inactivity

Hello, I will be on vacation until 27nth june, and will therfore be inactive. There are two packages of mine, yaz and scilab4, which will need a rebuild when readline hits core. If this happens this week, it would be nice if someone would do a rebuild. Regards Stefan

[aur-general] virtualbox-modules and kernel 2.6.30?!

Hi all, why virtualbox-modules is built with kernel 2.6.30?! The new kernel is still in [testing] so community packages should not depend on it. Anyway the new kernel will be moved to [core] soon, so I think is useless to fix this now. I want to remember all to wait until kernel is moved to [core] first to start updating packages.
