Currently extra/scons-1.3.0-1 is marked out-of-date, which is probably
due to the fact that since last month, version 2 has become the stable
branch upstream. From http://www.scons.org:
"14 June 2010
SCons production release 2.0.0.final.0 is now available from the
download page at SourceForge. This is the production release for the
2.0 series. The 2.0 series drops support for all pre-2.4 versions of
Python. See the ChangeLog for a complete list of changes in the
release."
Version 1 is still supported, as evidenced by the development branch updates:
"26 June 2010
SCons release 1.3.0.d20100626 is now available from the download page
at SourceForge. Fix the ability to append to default $*FLAGS values
(which are implemented as CLVar instances) in a copied construction
environment without affecting the original construction environment's
value. See the ChangeLog for a complete list of changes in the
release."
The following are the packages that makedepend on scons:
== extra ==
hydrogen
ardour
linuxdcpp
== community ==
ffmpeg2theora
oregano
btanks
kleansweep
pingus
dangerdeep
fceux
mypaint
glob2
We can either update it to version 2 or move version 1 to a scons1
package. If there are no objections and build issues, I'll go ahead
with the former, as it doesn't appear to be that popular to warrant
both major branches in the repos.

Hi,
i've compiled a list of votes from the last 6 proposals just to see if
it happened by accident to not vote.
http://dev.archlinux.org/~ibiru/votes.txt
from this only 3 users didn't vote for more than 3 times.
Ranguvar, swiergot and vegai. From our wiki none are marked as inactive.
Ranguvar i know he's active in this list, not so much in voting,
swiergot i don't remember him at all, vegai i guess is busy.
What happened guys?

Hello,
gnome-subtitles AUR package [1] has been out-of-date for a long time. I have
just created a PKGBUILD for the last version of this package. In order to
upload my PKGBUILD, gnome-subtitles has to be orphaned. Could please a TU do
that for me? gnome-subtitles is a great application and I would learn a lot
of things by maintaining this package.
Thank you!

Please, orphan the package rsget
[http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=25469]. There is already
version 0.3.1 and PKGBUILD on the official site. I have posted the
message in the comments and on the 17th of July I sent an
e-mail to Phitherek requesting him to update or disown the package, and
he didn't answer.
I am going to propose to be the maintainer to the author of the PKGBUILD
on the official site. If he refuse I'll take the maintenance.
With best regards,

Could someone remove frogatto package from AUR, owned by me, pio?
For some reason i couldn't refresh my package list, so I didn't see it
was already in community repository.
Sorry
This package has been flagged as out of date and the maintainer has not
responded to my attempts to contact him. The package has not been updated
for over two years now. Can someone orphan this so that I can assume
responsibility for it?

Hi!
I've recently create a successful PKGBUILD for the game funguloids
(works with ogre 1.7.1). I wrote to the maintainer some time ago to
update his PKGBUILD, but it hasn't been updated since 2 years.
I'd like to become the maintainer of this game
(http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=12506) and correct the
PKGBUILD to make it work.
Thanks!
