Hi! Some time ago, I've send an email to the maintainer of kmetronome (http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=17018) and did not receive an answer. I asked him if he would like to update his PKGBUILD or if he would like me to maintain (it's hasn't been updated since 2008). I would like to become the maintainer of kmetronome if it's possible and update his PKGBUILD. http://www.archlinux.org/packages/community/i686/icomplete/ Package is orphaned, not updated for a long time, and link to homepage is dead and i cannot find an alternative homepage via google. I propose to completely remove it as source code cannot be grab elsewhere. ++

http://www.archlinux.org/packages/community/i686/gnochm/ Isn't updated since 2007, and lack of feature like horizontal scrollbar It can be easily replaced by chmsee http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=3316 (250 votes), based on xulrunner, maintained upstream (last version 2010-06-28) Of course the aur's PKGBUILD need a good cleanup. ++

[aur-general] packaging a weird library, symlinks

Hi, I try to package the IUP toolkit. The build system is fairly weird, but in cooperation with the upstream project manager I think I know the steps necessary to package it. It would need a custom environment variable LUA_CPATH set to something matching the installed lib. Afaik this would be something the user would need to do manually, which I'd like to avoid. I will be going somewhere with supposedly little to no net connection. I should be back by Aug. 8th. I will only fix/maintain my current packages during this period (minimal work). Work on sage-mathematics to get it included into community will stall. Of course patches will be most appreciated but I don't expect anyone to take over. :) Cheers!

Hello, I just adopted swiergot's package airsnort[1], however a look at the projects website made me aware that the last release was in January 2005 and the developers themselves recommend the usage of aircrack-ng. Any objections?
