I would like to move Aurphan into community. I've added a number of
features to it lately, and it has become an automated means of
answering "what can I do to help Arch", parsing and summarizing the
todo list, the bugtracker and the orphans. The one random dev I've
asked seems cool with it, however he thought a wider consensus should
be found. It has enough votes but....
Aurphan could be considered an AUR helper. By default it searches the
AUR for AUR packages you already have installed. It does not download
anything.
I will change it so the default behavior does not search the AUR.
(New default would display the --help) I won't change the name, on
account of it being cute.

Hi,
the package glib-docs is outdated for quite a long time now. It was never updated since 2008. I already sent an email to the maintainer but he's not responding. Can somebody orphan it, so I can take over maintenance?
Thanks,
Aljosha Papsch
Hi TUs,
i think python-2to3-svn [1] can be deleted, as it is included in python,
orphaned and has not been updated since Mon, 31 Mar 2008 08:37:43 +0000.

Hi,
the AUR has a few useless Faenza packages. For example:
* f-dark-icon-theme -- a part of the actual Faenza
* faenza-cupertino-icons -- wrong name, out of date, not all variants
(also, I'm not sure, but faenza-kde-icon-theme does not seem to be
needed, someone else would have to check it)
Can you please delete *the first two* packages?

Since GLC moved from its old site to github, there aren't any (or I can't
find any) tarballs of glc, so now the only way to download it is via git,
but since I already maintain the glc-git package, that makes this package
reduntant and unneeded.
Can a TU give us his thoughts about this?

Objet : [utorrent-server] duplicate?
Hi all,
I maintain [1] utorrent-server package and I have noticed a new
[2] utorrent-server-userscript package.
The software is the same and can be used this way by my package [1] so what is
[2] for besides having another script?
