*** DELETE *** Have been replaced, but nothing useful to merge. https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/python2-ethumb-svn/ https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/python2-e_dbus-git/ easy_e17 was a script to pull all of the enlightenment programs from SVN, build them, and dump them all in /opt. With the switch to Git, it's no longer valid. The author has rewritten it as easy_efl, but with -git PKGBUILDS available, nobody seems interested in packaging or using this on Arch. [aur-general] Remove smartgit and smartgit-ea

Hi, There is number of smartgit packages [1] and two of them have been orphaned: smartgit and smartgit-ea. The current maintainer alyst confirmed in the comments: [2] "Please upgrade to smartgithg-ea AUR package, smartgit-ea would not be maintained." and [3] "The upstream was rebranded into SmartGit/Hg. The new AUR package is https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/smartgithg/" So, I think the orphaned smartgit and smartgit-ea should be removed. [aur-general] Removal Request: repo_manager

I'd like to suggest repo_manager [1] be removed. => Not updated since it was first uploaded. => Upstream seems to have completely abandoned the project (404's and no mention anywhere on rest of site). => Upstream source is gone and no alternative sources. Salve, citizens! I think we're ready to push GNOME 3.8 into [testing], so our TUs can start doing the necessary [community] updates. What to do (from memory): - Move contents of [gnome-unstable] to [testing] - Get [community-testing] updates going. This affects IIRC packages using libgee and js, since they received major upgrades. If possible, upgrade to the current versions, else move depends to the legacy libgee06 and js185. - Stabilize in [testing]. Move to [extra]. - Drop gnome-games, got split. Drop gcalctool, got renamed. - Look into dropping as many legacy GNOME packages from [extra] as we can, such as metacity, gnome-panel, gnome-screensaver, gnome-games-extra-data, gnome-applets, gnome-themes-extra. Maybe more, if we want to purge old stuff and demote it to [community] or the AUR. I probably forgot something. Reminders? Objections?
