[aur-general] Permission-error in AUR-submit

Hello, I get an error message about wrong permissions in the AUR-source-file. I had wrong permissions for my PKGBUILD and changed that, created the sourcep-package again. Nevertheless the problem could not be solved. I used mkaurball to create the tarball. After creating the tarball I untared it, to check permissions and anything seemed to be ok. But AUR does not accept it. Please explain what the problem is, and how it can be fixed. Ciao, Oliver

[aur-general] AUR merge request

Hi, I own two AUR packages "xware_desktop" and "xware_desktop-git". "xware-desktop" is the new name I want to use. I want to replace the underscore with dash, and I find "-git" package doesn't suit in my case. I already uploaded the package under the new name, can you help me merge the old ones into this new one? I added 'replaces=("xware_desktop" "xware_desktop-git") conflicts=("xware_desktop-git" "xware_desktop")', is there anything else should I do in order to make the renaming process work? Please merge https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/mba6x_bl-dkms-git/ into https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/mba6x_bl-dkms/ mba6x_bl-dkms has no proper releases, so the latest git code is the only actually valid variation for this package. The first package only existed because the latter was outdated and had a few issues, but I now maintain both, so it makes no sense to keep two. Hi, I add this [1] as a comment to https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/shutter/ . There still is the question, if AUR package maintainers will fix issues caused by the Perl update soon?
