ipset-new (https://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=49724) was created to update ipset (https://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=16553). The maintainer is happy for it to be removed (see comments).
Deleted, thanks.
Hi everyone,
It's been a week since I tried to get in contact with some of these maintainers and some packages have been deleted since, so here is the final aurdupes -A list. *Packages created to update others:* stardict-ncce-ce-new (https://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=40850) I think was created to fix the source links of stardict-ncce-ce ( https://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=19437) after the project was removed from sourceforge. It currently has no maintainer or votes and stardict-ncce-ce is also orphaned. stardict-ncce-ec-new (https://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=40851) did the same thing for stardict-ncce-ec ( https://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=19438). It also is orphaned and has no votes and stardict-ncce-ec is also orphaned. *Packages created for other reasons:* idjc-latest (https://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=35076) is poorly named and should be called idjc-git spideroak-latest (https://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=47096) is poorly named and should be called spideroak-beta. It is actively maintained. xf86-video-intel-newest (https://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=22968) is poorly named and should probably be called xf86-video-intel-alpha. I'm not sure what is the norm around alpha packages so please let me know what happens with this one. yaffs2utils-latest (https://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=46674) is poorly named and should be called yaffs2utils-snapshot but it's maintained by someone with an @archlinux email address so I think I'm mistaken on this one. Let me know what you think. josm-latest (https://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=13569) is poorly named and should be called something like josm-devel metslib-newest (https://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=43739). I'm not sure why this was created because the maintainer of metslib-newest and metslib is the same. Metslib-newest is more up to date than metslib though. Gadget3000
