Did you contact the maintainer by e-mail and wait for at least two weeks for an answer? The package was last updated on 23 Jul 2011, only one month ago. The package was flagged as out-of-date on 22 Aug 2011, only four days ago. So don't think the maintainer is inactive. Heiko
