Hah! The iptable rules were mixed up. [0:0] -A INPUT -i eth0 -p tcp -m tcp --dport 1043 -j ACCEPT [0:0] -A INPUT -i eth0 -p tcp -m tcp --dport 1045 -j ACCEPT It should work out now. Cheers!
