Yes, libgee06 should just work out of the box, and you may try libgee (0.10) though it's not likely to work. -> libgee06 /usr/lib/pkgconfig/gee-1.0.pc And for valac-0.8, I really don't see a vala version low as that, maybe you could give the following ones a try: aur/vala-012 aur/vala0.16 aur/vala0.18 extra/vala Regards, Felix Yan
