Lmms has been out of date for quite a while. It's been flagged out of date on June 13th. I emailed the maintainer Mateusz Herych telling him that only the pkgver and checksums have to be updated. He answered, that he's too busy in real life to take care of it.
Yes, it can happen. The rest of us are here to help, and once you let us know (if we are not aware already), we'll take care of it. However, if that was his reply, then it should've been followed up by a notification to let us know of his situation and to ask us for help to keep his packages up-to-date, or at least those that are important. By right, he should've marked himself busy/inactive. Anyway, I've updated lmms for now and will keep on monitoring the package since I'm familiar with it. -- GPG/PGP ID: 8AADBB10
